How the heck am I supposed to remember everything?! GOLLY! it's been way too long since my last post. This is NOT good! Well, all i can do i summarize everything i've eaten, as much as I remember! Crap! I am so beating myself up for this.

Friday
  • I can't effing remember!!!
  • Dinner= Fried Rice
Saturday
  • Breakfast = a cup of cereal
  • Lunch= Curry Puffs
  • Tea = 2 pcs of kuih
  • Dinner = Tom Yum Fried Rice
Sunday
  • Breakfast = 2 half boiled eggs, kaya butter toast, milk tea
  • Lunch= 3 pcs pratha bread and curry
  • Dinner= Rice, Vegetarian Fish and Home made potatos
Monday
  • Breakfast = Cereal Drink
  • Lunch = Pasta
  • Dinner = Rice, Mix Vegetables and Tofu in Soy Sauce

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! *gasp* I need the gym gym gym!!!

Derailed?

Hey ya,

Sent the granddad home yesterday. I'm liking the the new Bukit Jalil temporary bus terminal. Wayyy more organized than the one in Pudu. If only they could keep it there. Anyway this is what I had yesterday:

Breakfast (dim sum with the granddad and sister)
  • 2 luasa pao
  • 2 small pieces of fried sesame ball
  • 2 pieces of carrot cake
  • 1/2 a plate of kueh kak
Lunch
  • I skipped lunch cause I was full from breakfast
Tea
  • 1 luasa pao
Dinner
  • One bowl of rice
  • Fried egg plants
Supper
  • McD's fries
  • Apple Pie
  • 20 oz of Ribena

CRAP! It doesn't look that good eh!??!!! But I did spend alot of time in the gym yesterday. So i guess it evens it out? F! No excuses!

Today
  • Mushroom Mee (Breakfast)
  • 1 egg tart & 3 mini kuih (Lunch)
  • 1 plate of rice, vege tofu and vegetable/egg soup

  • Strawberry jam sandwich.

Okay okay, midnight snack was because I suddenly felt gastric pains in my tummy. So I had to get rid of it before it becomes worse.

  • 1 bowl of Tao Fu Fah (soy bean based jelly-ish thingy in black sugar)

Lunch
  • Baked fries with mayo and "regae- regae" sauce

Tea
  • 1 Strawberry Jam sandwich

Dinner
  • 1 and 1/2 scoops of rice
  • 1 serving fried bean sprout
  • 1 fried egg
  • 1/2 bowl of tau fu fah
Desserts
  • Watermelon

Hehehe... Broken diet. :/

Can Grandparents spoil your diet?

Hey ya!

We welcomed the grandparents to our house today. Its always fun having grandparents around I guess. The once in a while "baby-ing" and over dose of concern never gets old. Anyway, did it affect my diet? Hmm...

Breakfast
  • A slice of walnut carrot cake (We still have this thanks to Aunt Rose Mary who took baking lessons in the UK and gave us a whole cake! it's making me fat lahhh auntie but I still love it!!)

Lunch
  • Tau Foo Fah
  • Cereal Drink
  • A handful of fries with chilly and mayo
Dinner
  • Small bowl of rice
  • Tau Foo Fah
  • Mix Vegetables
  • 20 oz of Mango Juice
The verdict? I think having them around did spoil my diet in the sense of timing and portions. Remember how they use to feed you and put stuff on your plate? Well, here that's what happened. Over scooping and over feeding! But still... I luv my grandparents!

Hey ya,

The body feels sore as hell! Yup, i re joined my Body Pump classes today and boy am I out of shape! The weights I used are barely even weights and my muscles are burning already. Jeeze, I really need to buck up! Anyway, it still feels great after working out.

Breakfast
  • A "piggy" biscuit
Lunch
  • A cup of cereal drink
Dinner
  • Rice
  • Vegetarian Curry
  • Salted Vegetable Soup
  • Fried Spinach
  • Watermelon for dessert!

Feels good today :) I think it looks pretty healthy don't ya think?

I was in a bad mood and wanted to skip dinner. But because of my gastric problem, I had to eat:

Yesterday & Today

Hey!

As much as it's gonna hurt me for saying this, I'm gonna have to say it... my DIET this weekend has tanked! *sobs* Yeah yeah, its my own fault! Okay, serious work after this! After all, i'm gonna be only cheating my self if don't.

Saturday

Breakfast :
  • Banana & a cup of cereal

Lunch:
  • I had a late breakfast, so I kindda had tea at my uncle's place which of course entails Raya cookies and kek lapis! (epic fail here)

Dinner:
  • The parents took us for vegetarian food at a restaurant. We had the four seasons thing, butter "vegan" prawns and siew ngor. That was just normal portions.

Sunday

Breakfast:
  • 1 vegetable pao & 1 lotus paste pao
Lunch
  • A&W Onion rings (w/o the onions)
  • Some curly fries
  • 3 slices of Mango Pancakes
Dinner
  • Rice
  • Salted Vegetable soup
  • Sweet & Sour vegan "pork"

After a couple of posts, I'm able to see what needs to be changed. Gonna try to start making small but sure improvements to the menu now. Hope to see some results soon!

An example of why it's hard for Malaysian o stay thin!

Hey!

First of all Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim friends. Hope you guys have a good day/month. Anyway, here's what I had yesterday.


Breakfast
  • A slice of carrot cake
Lunch
  • I skipped
Dinner
  • A whole lot of Raya food. Rendang, Ketupat, Kurma, Nasi Himpit, Kuah Kacang and kuih! I am still vegetarian so I only took what I could but everything was oh so yummy!!!
Conclusion = Epic Fail!

The sister and I are trying to load up on lunch and lessen our dinner from today on wards. We'll see how it goes!

Checking in, as usual for the midnight report.

Breakfast
  • Bottle of milk

Lunch
  • Half a bucket of popcorn
  • 1 slice carrot cake (medium sized)
  • 1 packet hneoh pneah (3 small ping pong ball sized chinese pastry)

Dinner
  • Lotsa biscuits as starters.
  • 1 HEAP of rice (nasi minyak)
  • Flooded with all sorts of curry.
  • A few cups of punch.
Well, well, what do we have here? A freaking hugeeeeeee dinner! Well why? My sis and I attended a Hari Raya open house today. We ate and ate and ate till my button on my "expandable" jeans almost burst. You see, in Malaysia, when we have open houses, it usually means: Arrive >Eat>finish eating>snacks>chat>snack>chat>snack>eat>goodbye! In Malaysia, food is abundance and we have all sorts of food available. As for Raya, you would expect all the Malay delicacies.

So that ends my food log for today.

p.s: feeling extremely contented, happy and guilty at the same time.
p.s.s: minimal guilt, more happy and contented.
p.s.s.s: To all my Muslim friends celebrating Hari Raya, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri dan Maaf Zahir Batin!

Kim 'ere. Reporting what I ate today!

So I started my day with.....

Breakfast:
  • A bottle of milk
  • A glass of winter melon milk

Then for lunch, I had...
  • 1 and a half scoops of rice
  • Many slices of Vegetarian fish
  • Fried tofu marinated in black sauce
  • 1/2 of a mango
Then there was tea time...
  • 2 Slices of carrot-cake

And Dinner...
  • 1 and a half scoops of rice
  • Vegetarian fish ball soup with vegetables
  • Fried tofu marinated in black sauce
  • Egg Tofu.
  • A banana
Sidelines
  • Some biscuits here and there (not more than 5 pieces today)

There! Phew! Boy that seems like a lot. Thats actually really scary. I guess I'm a great example of "you are what you eat!". Oh! additional sideline for yesterday, A Packet of popcorn. :/ Yikes!

Ps: Thanks to auntie Rosemary for the wonderful and scrumptious Cake! loving it! (too much)

Late post!

Hey all,
Sorry for the late post! I was knackered yesterday. I did a little spring cleaning to my room and boy does it look BETTER now! *beams with joy*

Yesterday

  • I had a slice of cake for breakfast and then it was spring cleaning the whole day! Totally skipped lunch because of that. Hmm.... good thing? Not sure..

  • Dinner consisted of a plate of rice, a vegetarian chicken drumstick; two actually.. errr.. glutton and god knows how many pieces of vegetarian fish cakes. But oh well.

  • I also indulged in 3 cups of chocolate drink from old town! *gasp* not too healthy!

Today

Breakfast
  • 2 mini bananas
  • A cup of cereal drink
Lunch
  • 3 layered tea
  • Garlic toast
Dinner
  • A plate of rice
  • Vegetarian soup
  • Fried egg and tofu
  • A slice of (tiny) carrot walnut cake for dessert
On the plus side, I hit the gym today! Wheee! Feels good to be back in the gym again! I'm gonna be taking my body stats pretty soon. Yes! I'm facing my worst fears of the weighing scale *gasps in horror* but... i need to break free in order for this to completely work! Wish me luck guys.

Kim's Day 2 (8th.9.2010)

Hey! This is Kimberly, the other sister! So as ya'll already know what this blog is here for, here it goes:

Breakfast
  • Bottle of milk
  • Oreo Cheesecake
  • 2 kiwi fruits

Lunch
  • Slice of bread
  • Soy bean based jelly thingy

Dinner
  • Two scoops of rice
  • 4 slices of vegetarian fish
  • 1 Piece vegetarian chicken drumstick.
Sidelines (snacks, between meals, etc)
  • 1 Small bottle (125 ml +-) strawberry yogurt drink.

Okay, So thats what I ate for today. Well, the terms breakfast, lunch and dinner isn't really suitable at this point. I had breakfast around Brunch time whilst Lunch during tea time. Dinner was served as usual. Hmm.. seems like I eat more than my sister huh? :/

Day 1

Heyya Jasmine here!

This is what I had today, looks pretty unhealthy I would say. Yikes! But I tried out Old Town Signature at Taipan today for lunch. It's not bad, nice ambiance. The food seems to be the same but I guess we're paying the extra for the interior decor and better looking menu's?

Breakfast
  • A slice of Oreo cheesecake
Lunch
  • Thai Fried Rice
  • Honey Lemon Drink
Tea
  • 1 dragon fruit (yes! one whole fruit)
Dinner
  • Plate of rice
  • Tempeh
  • Fried Tofu

Hmm, healthy?! I don't know! but thats all for now!

Maiden Post!

Hey all!

I'm Jasmine and as a favour to ourselves, my sister and I decided to chronicle our food intake just to see how much we consume everyday. It's a reminder to ourselves to eat healthy and stay healthy. Our long term goals, to eat healthy and stay fit.

For now, we're just gonna chronicle our food but in the near future we're going to hit the gym and go on a diet!
